How many of you saw this show Sunday night. I can honestly say I was moved to tears. That is one of the most talented, impressive and thoughtful human beings I have ever seen. He made Louisville and Kentucky shine like a brand new penny. What impressive parents, what a story, I just can't say enough. He could be a concert pianoist easy.

Awesome story! Patrick played the National Anthem on trumpet at a Louisville Bats game last season, and it was incredible. Me, I hate it when people embellish it; it should be played the way it was written. Well, Patrick played it perfectly, clear as a bell, adding exactly one note, on the word "Free." It was such a perfect, piercing high note, that as it died out, you could hear a pin drop in that stadium. We have season tickets there, and I've seen all kinds of military bands, different choirs, soloists, etc., doing the Anthem, but in my book, Patrick Henry Hughes playing it solo on his trumpet was the best one ever.
