Mann's hardnose snake

Has anyone used these snakes yet? I had watched the Doug Hannon fishing snakes video and want to give snakes a try. The mann's snakes were $3 for 6 ct. bag as opposed to spending a minimum $48 for the "original" fishing snake. Any comments on these?
