Next fishin.com get together

I know we're waiting on Elwood to get over his hangnail (J/J,Hang in there Woody, hope your doing better!) But any idea on where it will be?

Not sure, but since I am going to Alaska at the end of April, someone else will need to do the arrangements like reserving the COE Location etc.
Of course after I do my story on thier failure to update their website and how it is affecting the people on Lake Cumberland well I may not be welcome at a COE Facility.. LOL.
There are now 48 ramps open on Cumberland and COE is still showing 14 and that Halcombs Landing is partially open.
Off the subject.. OK.. back..
Barren seems to be a good place and it is fair since everyone has fished it in the past.. I am having another Float and Fly Get together in December. That will be the World Championship Float and Fly contest.
Anyone interested in waiting til December??

Well I miss the old get togathering`s. I like Barren and would go back again. I`ve talked to a number of people that would love to do the regular bass thing we did a few yrs ago. I miss seeing the people that came out. What ever happened to Oldman,silver ranger and all. Debbie my partner and I have our places to defend. I guess the golden tolet seat will have to be put in the Fishin.com hall of fame.

I have never been able to attend but would do my best to be at one on Barren. Hey Jim, let me know where you will be so I don't stand next to you. They might accidently hit me with whatever they throw at you.

I have been in the Emergency Room 3 times in 3 different hospitals within the past week and been diagnosed with Pneumonia and Shingles and then some form of swelling in both of my lungs. 3 chest x rays, 3 EKG's, 3 CT scans at Georgetown, St Joe and today at Central Baptist and 3 different opinions by 3 different doctors. I am done with staying home and trying to heal up!!! I will be on the water this coming Saturday and Sunday, either with my buddy Chunknwind or by myself come hell or high water. If I am going to continue to be sick then it will be on the water so at least I am doing something that i truly love to do, CHASE BROWNFISH. Open wound still on my stomache will just have to be packed before and after I get off the water. Pain medicine and antibiotics will be taken before and after I get off the water. Too long sitting at home, today made my 100th official day in the hospital since October 6 and ZERO days on the water since June. If you want to find me this coming weekend then you will find me somewhere between first Island north to Illwill on Dale Hollow, sitting at the One Stop swapping lies with Mr. Steve Headrick or the Riverfront Motel in Burkesville. Schedule the next get together and I will be there no matter where or when so I will have the opportunity to meet in person and shake the hands of the guys and thave supported me in the past and donated money to the fund at Backwaters for me as well. I don't know who donated money but I would love to know so I can thank them personally. If you are reading this and you did, I appreciate it very much. Even if you did not and have called me, emailed me, private messaged me or just said prayer for me and my family, I appreciate it very much. Elwood...I know you are anxious to get out there and fish and are tired of all the docs and hospitals but if you have pnumonia and go fishing you are not going to be getting any better anytime soon. I know...I have had pnumonia twice....and learned my lesson the hard way....hope you change your mind about this weekend.

id be down for sure if its not on a bfl weekend...id say cumberland would be awesome and maybe barren but since cumberland is more in the central ky area i think more people would show...so somebody plan a date and lets get this thing rollin
