Could anyone please tell me what Rough River Lake looks like right now. Thinking about going this weekend and would like to know if it is worth my time. I know the lake is high, but what type of clarity are we talking about and how much crap floating in the water? Any word on water temps?
Thanks in advance for all your help!
Keep on chuckin'

Rough is high right now. It is over summer pool and it's pretty murky. They have the dam operational now and are allowing some draw down. Tough conditions is all I can say. I haven't heard of anyone doing any good. I'd be throwing a black or some dark colored jig (very slowly!) The water temp is probably somewhere around 42 or 43 degrees. I would probably try the North Fork area, it clears up faster than the rest of the lake, in my opinion.
