Last week on Wednesday I'm at my desk getting ready to fly to Kansas City for a business trip. Right before I turn off my computer to leave for Bluegrass Airport, I pull up basspro.com to see if there is a store in KC. Come to find out, they are opening up a store in Independence, MO (more of less in KC) and the Grand Opening is Wednesday night at 6PM!!! I'm thinking, "How cool is that? I'm there!!!"

After checking in at the hotel I catch a cab to the new store. It's the collest BPS I have seen. Lots going on... Rick Clunn, Roland Martin, Jimmy Houston and Wally Marshall are all signing stuff. The BPS NASCAR is on display. 2 live bands, etc...

The business trip was pretty boring but seeing the new BPS made the trip!
