Anyone heard or been to laurel recently? Wondering how the fish are biting. Plan on going Thursday.

Was at Laurel the weekend of Feb 15. We managed just 3 bass in two and a half days fishing. Two chunky 3 lb largemouth and a 13" smallie. Fished mostly floatnfly and hair jigs. Caught plenty of small trout to keep us busy though. My first trip to Laurel. Water temp 42-44 degrees.

I was thinking about going to Laurel Thurs too, your trip sounds about like the last 10 i've had down there. I guess if someone likes to catch small rainbow's, it's the place to be.

i am planing on go friday to practice for a tournament i have on saturday and was wondering what and where to fish...

I will be going tommorow and let you know how we do. Done real good a few weeks ago in Spruce Creek. Hitting the points and things. We plan on fishing from Flatwoods down towards the dam, unless its to muddy. Let ya know how we do.
