Brashears Creek flows through a lot of private property. There's some public access around Taylorsville. Don't know if you'll have very much luck fishing for crappie in the local creeks. You said most if not all the info about this creek. You can access it from the walking lane just off the Baseball fields they built not far from the Spencer County High School across HWY 44 on the left. Also there is another new access point just off HWY 155, or it's Taylorsville Road south, close to the Hatter Gas Station.
