UofL L-Raisin' Anglers Fundraiser Tournament

We have set up the first of our fundraiser events for the season. See rules and entry form below. We would love to have as many people as possible at this event, so come on out and fish while supporting our group!! University of Louisville – The L-Raisin’ Anglers – 2008 Fundraiser Tournament
Place: Nolin Lake – Wax Ramp
Date: Saturday, March 8th, 2008
Time: 7:00am or safe light to 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time)
Fee: $60.00 per team (includes $10 Big Fish Pot)

Tournament Rules & Regulations
1. No entries will be allowed after 6:00 a.m. the day of the tournament. Entry fee is $70 cash the day of the tournament which includes a $10 late fee.
2. No more than two fishermen per boat with at least one adult 18 years old.
3. All Kentucky boating and Wildlife Laws must be obeyed.
4. Only black-bass species will be weighed in, including largemouth, smallmouth, and Kentucky bass.
5. No one may use live bait (except pork trailers), artificial lures only. No trolling allowed, only one rod used at a time.
6. All boats must be equipped with working live wells which will be checked before the tournament begins.
7. There will be a FIVE fish limit per team. All fish must be at least 15 inches in length, except for one fish per person may be less than 15 inches but a minimum of 12 inches or larger (two-man team can have two fish 12 inches or larger, while a one-man team can only have one 12 inches or larger fish ).
8. All fish should be kept alive and in the best shape possible, then released after weigh in. Weigh in will be at 3:00 p.m. EST. If late, there will be a .5 lb deduction for every minute late - no exceptions. There will also be a .25 lb deduction for each dead fish weighed in, and a .5 lb deduction for every short fish brought to the scales.
9. Purse will be decided after all entry fees have been received. Total pay out will be 70% with 30% going to the club and the Big Fish Pot will pay out 100% to the largest fish caught in the tournament.
10. Starting positions will be determined by the order in which you register or sign up.
11. Tiebreakers will be determined by the team who has the largest fish.
12. Lifejackets must be worn at ALL times while the combustion engine is in operation. Kill switch must be operational and used when combustion engine is in operation.
13. All anglers will be responsible for any ramp fees.
14. If any of the above rules are broken during the competition, the team will be immediately disqualified.
15. All entry fees and forms must be mailed to Clayton Mastin—2065 South Preston Street, Louisville, KY 40217. Entry forms will determine what boat number/position your team will be assigned. Maximum number of 100 entries in this tournament.

I, the undersigned, have read the tournament rules and hereby waive myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, any and all claims for damages (bodily injury and injury to any and all property). I agree to hold harmless the University of Louisville and The L-Raisin’ Anglers from any and all claims, which might be made against them by reason of my participation in this tournament, and to indemnify the University of Louisville and The L-Raisin’ Anglers from any and all losses that they may suffer by reason of my participation in this tournament.
