I didn't need any other sales points. The wife says OK and I'm ready to sign on. Could you PM me with what exactly I would need to pack? Do you know dates yet?

Well it is a bit cool in May.. can get into the 70's but normally 40 to 60 degrees is the norm. Layering is the way to go. Sweat Shirt and a Jacket. Frogg Toggs is a great way to go. They are wind proof and rain proof is the weather changes. It can in Alaska fairly fast.
Pants maybe with a Fleece Lining. You can bring a rod and reel if you want but the lodge has equipment to rent that will do the job. Might want to bring a box for some tackle. Luhr Jensen Quikfish are the ticket most of the time, and some of the guys use a special rig with a spinner on it and a sack of salmon eggs. Catches trophy Rainbows AND Salmon. We can clean your fish if you catch them at the lodge, but do NOT leave any fish laying around. THERE ARE BEARS in the area. The river attracts them when the Salmon are running. Come and get me and I will clean the fish and return the carcass to the river. (Alaska law requires the return of the carcass to the river.. long explanation but it helps the Eco System.)
Hiking Boots are good, some tennis shoes and if you want to go out to dinner then dress TENNIS Shoes are fine in most places.
There is a Golf Course right down the road.
IF you come alone the cost is higher. You have to have a car to get around. The lodge is 15 miles from the Salmon Guide Meeting place and about 50 to Homer for Halibut Fishing.
If you need tackle there is a great store in town. There is a video on FGHP.com of the Tackle Store.
Any other Questions??
Jim
