Ohio River Sauger Fishing Status

Given the current river situation, high and muddy, anyone having any luck chasing the SAUGER/ from the bank or boat???

Would like to get out, but not sure it would be worth the effort. River level at Newburgh Dam just dropped enough that the Wing Wall is out of the water!!! Sure would like to get in a few more days sauger fishing before the season ends. Hey, I would even pull my boat over to Cannelton if there was a chance of catching a few of those fishes!!!
