Fished yesterday from 8-4. Worked a few main lake points, mostly bluffs and secondary points in coves. Caught all fish before noon. once the sun came out for good, the bite was gone. My partner and I landed 5 fish, and missed 3 others. Landed 3 spots, 1 that was a chunk, 1 largemouth about 2.5lbs, and 1 smallie about 4.5lbs. All fish were very aggressive on the bite. The smallie shifted gears and after diving deep for about the first 20-30secs turned into a dolphin and launched out of the water and nevered turned back. That fish made the 7 hours of driving all worth it. Never gets old catching those brownies. And I was even using a fairy wand! LOL!
water was around 44-48. most water was clear some had a slight stain towards the back. Water level is about winter pool. Most or all ramps should have plenty of water for use.
Have a tournament in 2 weeks down there. Will report when I get back.
