I love reelfoot. Snakes can get bad if the weather gets warm but you leave them alone and they leave you alone. Most stay in the duck blinds and stay out of the cyprus in the middle of the lake where the fish are.
I have stayed at cyprus point many times and they have a great place no matter what your needs are camping/hotel/house. We became friends with a guide down there that gave us some great fishing advice for the lake. Unfortuantly he passed away a few years ago. But I still have all the maps he drew on.
