    Off to Dale Hollow again....

No time to post tomorrow morning before I leave for I have an early Doctors appt in Frankfort to attend to before heading off to the lake. My guess is that I will have the only Explorer hooked to a boat in the parking lot of the Doc's office. If the weather holds up then the 3 of us should have a VERY GOOD Wednesday morning with the cold front coming thru Celina on Tuesday and Tuesday night, Wed morning should be ON. Thursday should be pretty good as well but Wednesday should give up a couple over 4 and hopefully a couple over 5 as well. Since there are no more Sturgeon swimming in Lake Cumberland, which is actually the oldest standing Ky state fishing record, then we will be chasing the MOST elusive fish swimming in Kentucky / Tennesse waters for the 11-15 Smallie record is the oldest active fish swimming in Ky waters. How stupid am I to be chasing the most elusive fish in the State, VERY STUPID but we all have our issues and mine is called Smallaholic. If I ever land that big girl and I happen to be on the TN side of the border, she will be transported back into the Reciprocating side of the water and I will have to tell a fish tale as to the exact location that I hooked her. A true blue Ky boy can't have the TN orange record but not his own state record. I wonder if I would get both state records since she was caught in reciprocating water?? Yes I have a disease called Smallaholicism. I have checked into treatment but there does not seem to be any scheduled meetings locally so I guess I will continue to get my treatment on Dale Hollow. See ya on the water, Elnut

Re: Off to Dale Hollow again....

So I lied and did post this morning, WEDNESDAY should be absolutely nuts just about all day long if the weather forecast stays accurate. Rain ending late Tuesday night and snow flurries up until 11am then cloudy until 3pm, can you say...........TROPHY. These days have ALWAYS produced for us in the past so I will put the hex on it by saying it first, WE SHOULD SLAY THEM ON WEDNESDAY. I hope the Mike and Mike show that is going with me lands all they can handle for it will spoil them in that every day is not like Tomorrow. Yes I have hexed us in that we will not get a bite, but if so the weather will be perfect and it will be because I am a fisherman and not a catcherman. See ya

Elnut, you are nuts for sure, but it is refreshing, great and fun to see you feeling so well. Best of luck on the water.
