thanks neat site!!! My question related to what impact, if any, the coming cold front would have on the smallmouth bite. I've seen a few comments that made me think that the bite might actually improve after a cold front. This has been far from my experience with largemouth in the spring which is why I made my post. thanks to all
The fish are still being caught deep on main lake points and a very few on secondary points. The front shouldn't hurt the bite as much as it would in late March or April when the fished have moved in positon or are spawning.
i concur with gunpilot, the "cold" weather is not going to bother them as much for the techniques you will be utilizing. if this crazy front would ever move on, i am planning to fish dale tomorrow and thurs. dale is just NOT nice with winds over 20mph (not that cland was any kinder at 40mph)
