    Re: Kentucky Lake Question??

Looks like a stronger front will arrive Friday. Be very careful crossing this lake to the East side in windy conditions. Also be aware of the water depth at the mouth of Jonathan. There is no crossing channel directly at the mouth. You will have to run to the island and it crosses diagonally to the east side. Stay inside the bouys this time of year and study a good map. That is a dangerous part of the lake and you can run into real skinny water quickly.I had a decent day there last Sunday fishing secondary points and a couple humps near the mouth of the creek.

    Re: Kentucky Lake Question??

If there is a good North / NorthWest wind be prepared to have your butt handed to you. Apextrail is correct ... coming out of J Creek use the channel markers or you will be looking for your lower unit. If you run the inside shoot on the island USE the channel markers it is VERY skinny and stump heaven at the South end of the island.
