I bought a half pound of minnows at Smyrna a month or so ago that had a number of "pinkies" in there, but I've never seen anybody selling batches of just albinos.

Sorry, can't help you in the Louisville area, but I purchased them several times last year in the Barkley Lake area near Grand Rivers. Also, met a guy on the Ohio (Newburgh Dam) while sauger fishing who raises them in his pond and he swares by them.

Rosie Reds are mainly sold at pet stores for around 12-15 cents apiece. They're used as feeder minnows for people who keep large fish such as chiclids in aquariums.
Suggest you put the question to the guys at www.crappie.com

There are bait shops around Kentucky and Barkley that used to carry them. They may be able to ship. Some of the boys on the site that live around the twin lakes could probably give you some phone numbers I think Bait and bullets at Aurora Ky. used to have them.
