    Brookville Lake Bassin?

Anyone been to Brookville? Is the ice gone? Crappie, Walleye or Bass?

Ice is gone, but the bite is slow. We were there last Sunday for 9 hours. One decent smallie and one we never saw. It was pretty decent, guessing a striper or big cat maybe. Water temps were 35-36 degree's Very windy. It still beat anything else I was doing.

Ray, I just read your article on early smallmouth fishing at Brookville. Do you have any more of those articles floating around? By chance was that smallie you hooked up with last Sunday on a silver buddy?

Yes and yes. It was a silver buddy and they're are 4 more articles for Brookville. I wrote a 5 part series for the different seasons @ B-Ville, and one on night fishing.

    Ray,

I have searched everywhere, and cannot find the other 4 articles. Is there a chance that you can upload them to your articles page on indianasmallmouth.com. I started back fishing Brookville last year after about 12 years. When I left, the smallmouth started to come on (or I started catching more). Now all I want to do is try and learn more about smallmouth.

The silver buddy is an amazing bait. I realized that years ago over at Brook, while searching for Walleye. I have had many days where would catch 7 different species in a day.

    Thanks

Smalljaw, you read the first one on Indiana Smallmouth? The other 4 will be there in short order. We are revamping the site. We are moving away from a smallmouth only site to more of just a regular ole bass site. I originaly wrote them for the Gadabout, so if you can find their archive or older copies they will be there. If not, hang tight for about another week and the site will be completely updated and they will be added there.

    Thanks Ray...

Yes I did read the first one on Brookville...I look forward to reading the others. I appreciate you taking the time to put these articles out for the public. I have probably caught more smallmouth at the Brook on accident than I have ever caught there on purpose. I plan to change that this year and as we go forward.
