Today is perfect for Dale Hollow...

I was suppose to be arriving at Dale tomorrow but this storm has wiped that off the map. My one and only opportunity to try out the FnF this year was not meant to be. I do believe today had to be a great day if you were lucky enough to be on the water and did not have to worry about going north anytime soon.

The best day I ever had on Dale in the spring was one of the prettiest days I ever fished there in the spring. Temp climbed to mid 60's, bluebird skys, and the lake was calm and slick as glass. Caught around 30 fish from daylight til dark with 10 18" keepers. The sun was penetrating the slick water warming the shale banks, and the big smallmouth were up very shallow.

Called the One Stop and they had a bit over an inch on the ground but it was melting in some spots but not in others. With tomorrows highs in the mid 40s it will be gone by tomorrow. Hope this helps
