I'm running a transducer to my bow mount trolling motor (maxxum). I need some help on how to run the cord so it doesn't get pinched or stretched as I raise and lower the motor. I got the boat on the trailer and can't swing the motor into the down position to test it but I would like to get it rigged right so messing with it doesn't cut into my fishing time on the lakeAny advice?

I used plastic locking ties to keep it close to the shaft. One thing to do is that you need to consider the longest distance from where the cable comes out to where the trolling motor head is for both the down and up position. In other word the longest distance could be when your trolling motor is in the up position depending on your shaft length. That is how mine worked out.
Thanks guys. I got it on there, nice project for a snow day. Hope it works!
