Taylorsville blue cats

I'm new to the site and thinking about going to Taylorsville lake this week to fish for some blue cats. I have never fished for blue's, but have heard some good things about T'ville lately. Any suggestions from where to start, how deep, bait, and set up would be greatly appreciated.

The Ville is absolutely chocked full of cats but most of them are channels. Yes there are blues there but the numbers are channels. Fish deep this time of year will cut baits and you should be fine. Get on the channel breaks and ledges and you should find those ole whiskered rascals. Tell us how you did when returning.
