I've always wanted to go to Dale hollow and since the Cumberland River is so high, we are headed there. We've never float and fly fished. Is that necessary to catch fish now. If the water temp inches up to 44 or 45, will crank baits or jerkbaits work ? Any other tips would be much appreciated. The only body of water I know well is Cumberland River. I'll post a report Monday night how things went. Thanks in advance.
I don't know what the bite is now , but about two weeks ago it was deep jig-in color PNB was yielding some good brown backs not much help but ma-by a place to start. some of the guy or gals here should be able to shoot you straight on Dale.
Good luck and good fish-in Southwind
