The only line I use other than Flourocarbon is Mono on topwater, Braid for flippin, Braid main line for my FNF but Flourocarbon leader. I even use Flourocarbon night fishing for I will sacrifice the Flourescent of Mono for the feel of Flourocarbon. Just my 2 cents worth, but I do know without a shadow of a doubt that when I switched to Flourocarbon and Tungsten, I can feel the bottom, the differences in the bottom from mud to hard bottom to stumps or rock and certainly catch more fish with Flourocarbon versus Mono. I can also feel the grass so much better at Dale and with Ky Lake getting more and more clearer and more and more grass growing, it will help as well. Loved the feel of Flourocarbon and Tungsten in the Flower Bite on North Barkley last spring as well. I could feel when it was barely hanging up to when the flower let loose and I dropped it back down. Flourocarbon and Tungsten are more expensive than Mono and Lead but we spend all this money on the gas for the tow vehicles, gas in the boat, hotels, lures, launch fees.......to catch fish. Why not spend a little extra on your line, hooks and sinkers for I have said it a million times, Depth and Presentation are so much more important than lure color. The Flourocarbon and Tungsten will help you be a better Catcherman, for I know it did me. Good Luck
