Although its true some of the depths may have changed and some of the stumps may not be there anymore. These GPS chips along with a really good map are great for finding spots on the lakes. You can even find your own spots that arent on the chips and save the waypoint so you can find it over and over again. Try it out i think you will like it... But also get a good map. Never depend entirely on your gps.....Just my opinion.......Good Luck
