Add me to the countdown list, leaving at 2:00am in the morning heading to Dale for 4 days. Plan on having the first FNF cast in the water just before sunup awaiting the bobber plunge then the hand to hand combat with the 5+ Brownfish. Never fished Guntersville but hear it is one of the best Greenfish lakes around. Planning on getting that far South one of these days but hard to not stop around the Celina TN area for "Them Ol Brownfish" for me. Good Luck on your trip and be safe. I will catch a Brownie for you if you catch a Greenie for me.

I am taking my boat and fishing with Mark and his buddy in Mark's boat on Thursday for sure but just may launch by myself on Friday and let Mark and his buddy have his boat. Nobody with me on Friday so come on down and fish with me. Hens is coming down to fish Saturday and Sunday so it will be Friday only but you are more than welcome. Later

Good luck. The fishing should be awesome as that is an outstanding lake. I fished there only once a few years ago and caught some dandy LM's. I broke off on a gorilla that was 7lbs+. Again, excellent lake. Good luck!

I am leaving at 5:00 a.m from Louisville and heading to Guntersville myself. Staying in the Scottsboro area. looks like we are timing it pretty well. Reports say the bite is on !

Just got done chopping up Onions, Celery, Bell Peppers, Turkey Smoked Sausage that will be the main ingredients plus Diced Tomatoes, Chicken Stock, Fresh Ground Pepper, Tony Chacheres Creole Seasoning and Franks Hot Sauce for Elnut's Famous Jambalaya. We may not catch a single fish on Thursday but I will make an absolut GUARANTEE that we will be eating very good Thursday night for Supper. Don't worry Mr. Henson, I know you are reading this and your mouth is WATERING, I got 2 bunches of everything for we will have it again Saturday night. Smallmouth Capital of the World spending time with some pretty good guys, eating Jambalaya at night makes the world perfect. Now only if the Cats were playing Thursday night instead of when we are on the water it would be better. Go Cats Good Luck and Good Eats.....

All the reports I have read say the bite is on as well. Talked to a Guide down there earlier today and he said it is picking up. He also said they were moving shallow. We shall see tomorrow! Good luck and we might see you there.
