I have visited Ceasars and Belterra. Did't see any organized crime or prostitutes. Just where are they located. It isn't like these places are like the Vegas strip or the Boardwalk in Atlantic City.

BTW, I don't gamble except on the Derby. I went to the Casinos to watch boxing. I personally would not be going to casinos and don't care one way or the other if they come here or not, but I think it should at least be put on the ballot for the people to decide.

The Syndicate (organized crime) doesn't walk around the boats, wearing black suits carrying big guns and signs that say, "Property of de Mafia; keepa U hands off," but they are there; in casinoes and on boats. If I introduced you to my former brother-in-law, he could explain to you how you get to meet them.

Maybe you missed the "escorts" because they aren't called prostitutes or w#ores inside the casino. Those are usually waiting in/around the expensive suites and reserved for high rollers. The $20 ones hang out in the cheaper areas, but they ARE there, some, brought in groups by a pimp. Neither are as obvious as the brightly flashing neon signs.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a gambling refrendum because, like it or not, people have the right to choose... good or bad. Personally, I'm past the stage of wasting money for a quick thrill. I'm not going to "bust my behind" all week to make money and then watch as it flies away into thin air; that's what gambling is. jmo
