We had a fishers of men tournament on Saturday. I fished after blastoff until time to set up and I blanked. Fishing was tough on Friday, but everboyd caught fish on Saturday. Only 2 boats out of 35 blanked.
Just under 16lbs won first place and we paid 7 places. It took 9lbs to get a check.
Top three places were culling fish.
Lot of fish caught up in walnut creek and several fish caught in the river.

Was this the weekend of the 15th? We've had a monsoon since then. A friend of mine and his sister won the Fisher's of Men on March 15th with 13 pounds plus. (West division I think) Not sure which division fished that you're talking about this past Saturday (22nd) and 16 winning it. Anyway, I'm sure it was tougher after the great flood. See ya'll on the water,

The good thing about being the director is the fisherman tell you what's going on. Good thing they did because I couldn't catch a fish Friday or Saturday between the high winds and muddy water.

Don't forget my $5 buck from our mini tournament on Saturday morning. BTW I still have my camera out waiting on that monster you caught...
Sounds great. Thanks for the info , It's time to head that way. I always enjoy the Fishers of Men website and have several friends who fish different divisions. We were over there on the 22. Water temps ranged from about 48 around the Penninsula to about 54 around the 31E bridge above state park.

Hey Lee,
Congrats on the top 20 season finish and a spot in the regionals.
