...all of the weather reports I saw (TV and Internet Weather Channel, two TV weathermen, and two newspapers), said that it would be cloudy, windy and rain today, so I decided I would do something else instead. TODAY HAS BEEN A BEAUTIFUL RAIN FREE DAY!!

Obviously this isn't the first time i have heard these comments about meteorologists. My father is a retired meteorologist with the National Weather service, and I often asked for his opinion about the difficulties in predicting the weather. I won't try and repeat them, but if you ever have the opportunity to ask a meteorologists about this issue, you may be enlightened about the challenges of predicting such a complex system. Not taking this personally, cause if i did I would have lived my life angry =]

sparrow75, I am glad you don't take it personally. The NOAA site is worse than most weathermen--it gives you mountains of extranious bovine feces but never tells you anytrhing that is usable.
