IU Bass Fishing Club is looking for boat drivers that may be interested in fishing the Minnow Bucket tournament this Saturday April 5th with us at Raccoon Lake vs Purdue. If anyone may be interested or wants more details please feel free to contact me.

I would like to help you guys out by making a suggestion or two.

It might help in these days of high priced gasoline to have the students offer to help with gas expenses.

This is just a suggestion.

A few years ago when the University Guys asked for Boat drivers on this web site they got a lot of offers to help. I know that the one tourement that I volunteers my boat there were at least 10 to 15 other boats that day. This was a tournament held on Patoka Lake in Sept that year. Ray Rigsby was a boat driver that day. I saw were you posted on his web site too.

Surely there are some IU alum in here that have fund and a boat that could help out some IU undergrads.

That is a good point. And yes, if anyone is willing to fish with us for the day we are more than happy to help pay for the gas, ramp fees if any, and pay for your entrance to our big bass pool the day of the tournament.

Sorry I can't make it this weekend, I got a club tournament of my own on Barren Lake. But I would have loved to have helped out you guys beat Purdue...I remember when this Tournament first started out being fished on Monroe Res. back in the late 80's.

Yep, the Minnow Bucket tournament of IU vs. Purdue was the first collegiate competition ever. IU was actually the first college fishing club in the nation!! College fishing is exploding and Fox College Sports is covering many of our tournaments. So it is really exciting and IU will be in the National Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship again this year as well as the Big Ten Classic April 12th and 13th.

We are always looking for guys wanting to fish with us and IU Bass fishing club hopes to see some of you in the future.
