Anyone hear about the mountain lion killed near LBL?

Was hit by automobile near Cadiz a couple of weeks ago.

I don't know if that story is a hoax or what, but I would not be surprised if there was large cats in that area. Whether that is a cougar, mountain lion, lynx, etc, it is surely a large expanse of wilderness that large cats could live in and they are native to this area.

Here's the story I got. I work with a guy whose wife works at the Coop in Glasgow. Another guy who works with her is the brother of the guy in the photo. It was hit near HWY 274 and Parkview Shores Road. He came across the accident after a woman hit the lion. Lion had her hip broken in the accident, and had to be put down. It appeared to be nursing, so she wasn't alone.
