I have not been in the middle of these arrangements but was wondering when you plan on taking this trip?Bill,
I REALLY appreciate the offer, but I cannot get down to Ft. Knox with my current situation (I am now watching the boys all day long). If you could send them to me, if that is not asking to much, I would certainly appreciate it. My address is:
Rob Appleby
11010 Lavender Way
Louisville, KY 40291
502-689-5528 (phone)
If you cannot send them via mail I still appreciate it very much. Good luck wetting the lines
Anytime next week is my plan due to the kids being on Spring break. It will really depend on what the wife wants to do, and when. Hate to sound like a "whooped man" but if momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy (as my pop used to tell me and I have found he was right, as with most things in life). I cancealed out on Brandon White (the guide I was going to use), which I had originally planned to take the boys out with me on a "guided" trip at Cumberland the 12th and 13th. He was a great guy to go out with when I went a month ago (before this all happened) and I would HIGHLY reccommend to anyone looking for a guide, I KNOW he has an opening in a week from now on my accountAnyway, the answer to your question is that I may take them up to Frankfurt for a "test run" this weekend if I can swing it, and then out somewhere close by later in the week. Ryan, a EKU bass guy from the site here, told me about the KY wild life place up there where they can all do things that will not cost that much for a few days, and there is fishing to do as well. It should be interesting since I am not a very experienced "fisherman" myself, but I WANT them to have this experience because I know I can still remember, and I am close to 40, the first time my pop took me fishing.
Rob
