Patoka and Waveland Help

I am going to Patoka this weekend and want a little help. I am going to go down there with wife and two kids over there spring break and hopefully catch some crappie! if anybody knows the lake any help would be nice. Also next weekend we are going to try Waveland, again any help with that lake would also be helpful.

Patoka is very high and mostly stained and muddy. Water temperatures are in the mid to upper 40's on the main lake and low 50's in the creeks. The water is well up in the bushes. It is high enough that you cannot get a bassboat under any of the bridges. I can't speak for the crappie fishing, but the bass fishing has been very poor. Probably not what you wanted to hear.

As of yesterday night like SS said the water is so murky. Crappie are not bitting that good unless u can make it dance in their face. I also know a large boat can fit under kings bridge but i dont know about the other ones.
