I have fished Kentucky waters off and on for about 40 years and would have considered our state in the upper most level when I started, but in seeing the resource become more and more depleted each year would have to put us in the bottom 50% now.

I would be interested to see how much of our fish and wildlife budget is now going to newly introduced species rather than the traditional LM,SM,Crappie, Catfish. I see that our new commissioner came to the state with the Elk herd, and so did one of his department heads as well. How much income is Elk hunting producing for fish and wild life? Two other department heads are retired State Police Officers? Is writing traffic tickets generating any income for the agency? Tennessee wanted $40.00 for a trout stamp. If you want to play you do need to pay.
