i never lost one during practice and they all just had to come unbuttoned when the money is on the line!
yep i feel ya...last year in a big tourny down there i lost one in the morning on topwater, broke one off flipping and lost another flippin.Me and dale hollow is guna fight one of these days
me and dale has had some good times.... not lost very many fish down there and hope it stays that way!
Just curious about something...You mentioned breaking off twice do you think thats because of the F-carbon line? I had that problem with 17# and 20# F-Carbon years ago and stopped using it. I don't break off at all now, actually never did before switching either. Just wondering what you think?
Ive began to wonder that to because of the no stretch. But youdthink since its stronger than mono itd be better, but one of my fishing partners uses 17lb mono so i really dont know.next time i go down i might rig up some mono and braid and then see how i do.
my dad told me that it was b/c of the wire of the spinner bait... the bait i was throwing had a small wire and that it would cut f-carbon really easily..
