Head down 44 in lawrenceburg toward shelby county. 8 miles from 127 give or take. There will be a little town called Glensboro Blink and you will miss it. 45 mph zone. 1/2 mile on right will be a fire station Station 3 / Training center. The next left after a sharp turn will be a gravel road It will be a sign WMA Taylorsville. Follow gravel road until a Gate. Park around that area You can pull off around the black barn on right or left just be carefull not to get stuck. You can go about fishing two ways. 1 walk to left of gate and follow the field straight to the old man holes. Hint old man because of easy walking. or # 2 Follow the road past the gate until you get tired mile or so and walk into the fields to your left and start there. After a mile or so down towards taylorsville it will be flooded. Yes it is muddy yes they are bittiing. Wadders are not needed you can bank fish 85% of it. And cath your limit remeber limit is 15. This includes Hybrids. Crappie are bitting to. The best time is early morning before 10 am. And 2 hours before dark till dark. When there bitting you can limit out in 25 minutes if there not bitting 4 hours. white rooster tails. yellow roosters as well. Good luck. If not bitting in one area move move move. you can not move enough. Hint the word White Bass RUN.... ED

Where did you go? I went this morning between 9:30 and 11:30 and never got a bite. I walked down the gravel road until I saw where the lake was backing up into the fields then started fishing right before that and fished all the way back to where I parked, NEVER got the first bite.

I live up in alton and by far this is the worst day I have had. I could a few a couple of days ago but none worth keeping, in my opinion.

Went about .25 mies down gravel road to left. 2-3 deep holes there. I was out by 930. also 53 bridge is ok as well what were you using? When they quite bitting they flat stop. Mostly when that sun pops out. ED

I have been using mostly rooster tails, chart yellow black. I have tried road runners also. I guess I may have just went in too late but I thought with the rain they would have been biting all day. Last week I was catching them really well before the big rain about 1/4 mile toward the lake from palmer road.
