Herrington Whites and Crappie

dad and his buddy are going to try and miss the rain friday and go do some fishin on herrington for white bass and crappie.there going to run upin the river probably and try em out.Has anybody been fishing it here lately,and if so have ya got any info to help em out

This is probably too late...but we've been 2x's this week and fished the whole darn thing from Bryants all the way to the 52 bridge and didn't really have any luck. Caught 6 or 7. Water temp was great, but with the front it'll be back down.
