It's still 10 foot over summer pool and they should start pulling it this week which won't help the fishing. It was muddy when I was down there Wednesday. I heard the water was in the 50's though, Good luck.

Well, we changed our minds about Rough River this weekend and we are heading to Nolin. Dont know a thing about it. Anyone have any good ideas or have been there. Water conditions, good bait choices, etc. Anything will be helpful.
Thanks,

Look back a couple of pages on here for a report or two for Nolin River Lake.... Good luck.....Don't hurt to trow a shad rap crank bait....This time of year you might even hook up on a Walleye or two....yum yum......![]()
My son and I was down there last week. Its awful muddy in the upper lake. We fished mostly around the the brair creek area picked up several keepers everyday slow rolling a white and cartrouse spinner bait in 6 to 8 feet of water. My 10 year old got a 4 1/2 pounder tuesday.
Brush hogs worked good last spring, caught a pretty decent walleye on a wooly hawgtail, but nobody around us wanted it so she went swimming.
What was the water temp when you were down Tuesday?
Thanks for the replies. We will be there sometime Friday mid-morning staying out of Moody Bear, I believe. I will give a report when we return next Wednesday. If they won't bite. We will load up and come back to Dale Hollow or Cumberland. We will have to see. Will give it at least 3 days, because none of us have been on this lake. Wish us luck.
Thanks,
Dont Go the fishing is awful my dad fished in Rock CK for 6 hour not even a bump
