Many of you responded to my request for assistance with my boys and getting them the poles I needed to take them out fishing, and I THANK YOU greatly. I was reading the post about the gentleman not thanking them for doing something VERY nice for them in a tourney and I thought, "I don't wanna be that person". So, with this in mind I would like to thank Chuck Isreal for the kindness he showed me this weekend. He took me with him to the KY Bass Tourney in Herrington as his non-boater. I had a BLAST (even though I did not get as much as a nibble . I have never fished for bass before and quickly realized that the equipment, which I had from the mid 90's, was horrible for this incredibly intriguing sport. I am hooked, no pun intended, and will definately try it again when I can get a few lures and a decent "bait casting rod" is it called?
Anyway, I wanted to thank Chuck for everything from the ride down to the ride home, he covered it all so I could go and enjoy a day of fun trying something new for myself!! I cannot ever repay all this site has done for me, and my family, but rest assured I will try over the next few years to help others when I can as I have been helped. Thanks again Chuck!!
BTW, anyone have any suggestions on how to learn to cast one of those god awful contraptions??

Rob
