Good Bass Fishing Videos?

As I have mentioned in my previous post, I actually NEVER fished for bass (well excluding hook, bobber and worms as a kid) before this past weekends tourney. I was wondering if anyone could reccommend any videos, ones I could rent or get at the library would be best, I could get to teach me different basic techniques for the sport? I am VERY hooked on this now and want desperately to improve, and maybe even catch one sooner than later, and thought someone might have some videos that they thought could help me learn. I am not looking for "advanced" skills stuff, just the basics of things like jigs, crankbaits, spinners, ect. Thanks for any help you could be with this.

I don't know about renting any, but you can find a few different ones at Wal-Mart in the sporting goods deptartment.

Try the NAFC.com web site and any other web site you can find related to fishing and most times they will have a few video's to download, so you can watch them.

The Library might even have some that you might be able to check out. Even this site here has a few video's that show people catching some fish. You might even be able to see how they are working their lures prior to the Bass actually hitting and them fighting the fish.

Try youtube.com and search for videos. They have alot of different type of video's on fishing. Just type in the search bar what type of fishing you want to learn and lots should pop up there.

Try Blockbuster, they used to carry them, you might try some pawn shops also. Good Luck

Try the bass pro series at BPS, they are pretty informative, and give you pretty good details on where, and how to use the baits.

One of the fastest ways I believe is to enter Pro-Am style fishing tourneys I have been bass fishing for 15+yrs and I still remember much of what I learned fishing with more experience guys it beats a video all to heck. I believe there is a book/video called "largemouth bass" that has been a staple for most guys to better understand a basses habitat and feeding habits, and I agree with AndyG bassmaster, or bassin magazine it is extremely knowledge based but Learn a Shaky Head with a Zoom finese worm and you'll REALLY be hooked!

I have found a lot of good books on ebay and amazon for really cheap....good books, for a good price......videos as well

You need to check out expert village. It's one of these new see-to-learn tutorial sites. Newsweek had an article on them recently. Over 80,000 education videos online on every conceivable topic. Learn to brew beer, detail a car, use adobe photoshop, tattoo yourself, etc. How it works many videos are sponsored by corporations in the area of interest. So you often will see a 30 second commercial and then 10 minutes of tv quality production on your topic of interest.

For example there are hundreds of free videos on fly fishing, fly tying , dropshot rigging, using senko baits, picking line, a reel,etc. Many of these are taught by or hosted by a professional guide. They have series of videos on different topics. Include a 15 video set on how to fly fish and it covers ever aspect a beginner would want to know. I think there are now over 300 videos on fishing.
