I'm with you on that one John, And Catman, Fishhead is right on the only thing I might add , for channels go to your local grocery store and ask for there oldest white or pink shrimp,no tiger they sometimes will give it to you. And take along raddletraps, roostertails, and plenty of jigs with an asst. of colors and you should be fine. Chuck

the ohio is a great place to land a big cat your close to my neck of the woods. my advice for bait is skipjack &live bluegill & fish outer bends of the river. the water is usually deeper active cats will be staged at the front of the hole. not trying to toot by on horn but man there is great fishing here. last year I put several cats on my boat that weighed over 20 pds
biggest weighed 65 pds the biggest yet for me is 80 pds flat head. and far as bass fishing I landed a 6 pounder in littleblueriver last yr. to me the river got me heart and soul . goodluck to those that give her a try to me she the best.
Thanks for the info on the bait choices. Sounds like you had a pretty good year! Hope I can get into some of those big ones. Really be happy if I can manage to put my boys on some. That would be even better than me catchin' some!!the ohio is a great place to land a big cat your close to my neck of the woods. my advice for bait is skipjack &live bluegill & fish outer bends of the river. the water is usually deeper active cats will be staged at the front of the hole. not trying to toot by on horn but man there is great fishing here. last year I put several cats on my boat that weighed over 20 pds
