I plan on taking my buddy from San Diego fishing this weekend. I want to make sure he catches some fish. Does anyone have any tips about what the fish are doing? prespawn still? on the beds? off the beds? hopefully with the BFL at laurel that will take some weekend pressure of the bass fishing at Cedar Creek.

Here's a story, my buddy(from diego) caught an 11 lbs largemouth back in Cali, he says he caught a baby duckwrapped a treble hook around its legs and therw it on the nest of the big bass and BAM!! haha Just for the record it is illegal to use live bait in Cali.
