Just as I was about to post that I LOVED the Red Eye Shad, not because I have ever caught a fish on it but I had a first hand experience FROM THE BACK OF THE BOAT, in getting it handed to me with 10 fish caught on it in about 40 minutes while I am palomaring on every bait in my box trying to find something I had that they would hit. When you go thru all the tackle that I have, pretty much a small bait and tackle shop, and they won't hit any of my offerings, this bait must be pretty good. When all of Chunk's fun stopped and we made a move, it looked like a Used Bait shop had opened up for I had bit off and re-tied so much and just threw them in the bottom of his new Triton. Took me 15 minutes to pick them up and half way organize them back in all the different plano's that I had strung all over my half and most of his half of the boat as well. I LOVE, or is it HATE, the Red Eye Shad.

I will add that the King Shad 4" Jointed Swimbait looks pretty good in the water as well. When I am getting 6 and 8 inch fish to bust this Swimbait, I can't wait to put in front of a few of the Big Girls this coming weekend back at Ky and Barkley. It may not catch a single fish on it again, but I like the way it moves in the water and when you pause it, it sort of turns sideways as to look behind itself. I can only imagine when a MONSTER is swimming up behind this bait trying to decide to hit it or not and I pause it and it turns to see the beast behind itself as to what the strike will feel like. Hoping to find out soon. I only wish it ran a little deeper than about the 2-3 feet than it does.
