Has anyone been to Raccoon recently? If so, how is the water level and crappie fishing?

So, how's the crappie bite at Raccoon? And where is a good spot there? Any input is greatly appreciated.
The crappie are bitin all over the state...........Raccoon included! Put you boat in the water and do some experimenting..........you might find a good spot! That's what most guys do......go fishin, not ask for a honey-hole.
Tobias, that reply is a little harsh sounding. I was just wondering how Raccoon is since I don't see a lot of comments about it. I'm not asking for any honey holes, maybe just some tips.
didn't mean to sound harsh but..........you asked for a "good spot!" To me that's the same as askin for a honey hole. The crappie are bitin at Raccoon..........I've caught all mine on jigs. The best advice I can give you is hit the water. Nowdays w/ the internet people don't want to go fishin until someone online tells them the fish are bitin and where to go...........it's frustrating for those of us who hit the water 10 months of the year, don't care weather the fish are bitin, and don't ask questions like "where are some good spots"
I understand. I was just wondering about Raccoon Lake. I been to a few places and done pretty good this year, haven't been to Raccoon yet. Actually, I haven't been there for a few years! Seems like every time I go there, the fishing gets worse and worse.
I fished Raccoon yesterday. We were crappie fishing and only caught one crappie. caught several small catfish though, two nice trout, and 7 or 8 smallies.
I know what you mean. I posted a report on another website, then some member who I never seen post anything started pm'ing me to give up everything.
He just kept pm'ing wanting more and more location specifics. I helped him out, but the next time I go, he will probably be on my spots.
