Finally got out to Kincaid this past weekend and was suprised to see the 70 degree water temps. I must say fishing was a little tough for me at least. i did manage to catch 7 bass and a big crappie. I never really got to get on a pattern because the wind forced me to keep changing up my baits. I only caught 2 fish on a jig and 1 was the crappie that was over 1 1/2 pounds. The other fish was a 2 pound bass and i lost 1 more decent fish on the jig when i was on my way leaving. I also caught on around 2 1/2 on a 4" worm and all the rest of my fish were on the worm and 1 on a lizard. My friend caught 1 fish and it was on a senko after talking to a gentleman that told us he had 9 on a senko. He also lost another decent fish on the senko. We probably would have done better if the wind was not blowing so hard. The fish did not hit very agressive at all. I think they may be on the nest or getting ready to be. None of the fish we caught looked beat up at all but with the temps it is only a matter of time.
