Mono,Braid,or Flouro

You cannont beat the Flouro/tungsten combo, I can feel the fish approaching it!! LOL.

My brother in law would always say out loud "I got one breathing on it" when he would get a bite. I now think it was the Flouro/tungsten the whole time and he could feel it approaching before the bite. And all this time I thought he was just that good

My choice? 30 lb braid, a 20lb seagar leader, as long as the rod, wet the flouro before drawing it tight.You should be able to move stups with it. Braid is so strong that two yrs ago I used 90lb on one of my down riggers, it makes no noise, since then I have gone back to wire, but i still use the 90 on my lure retrievers, and I did bring up a big limb, but in the process broke the lip off the bait.
