Need some info on the Ohio River out of Carrollton KY.

I am a bass tournament angler that has an NBAA Championship to fish the week of May 12th. This is a team tournament, and dad and I fish as a team. We will be taking off from Carrollton, Kentucky. I was hoping some of you fellow anglers could give us some tips and areas to try on the Ohio or Kentucky rivers. Locations, activity (spawn/post spawn), and baits that produce at that time of year. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would try small crankbaits (white or chartreuse) and small spinnerbaits.

I would lock up and fish around Craig's Creek or Big Bone

if you go to Corp. of Engineers they used to have maps of the river system that you could download.

If you can get thru Lock 1 on the Ky. Eagle creek would be a great place that time of year, its about 10 miles or so up river but would be worth it if you could get there and the water is right.
