Around I-64 the best and easieist ramps to get to would be in Frankfort or Henry Co. Just find you a good map and you will find them. If you want to go up I-71 to Carrollton you would have a few more options as well, good luck.

I've just started exploring that magnificent river the past couple years, and I'm sure others on the board know a lot more about it than I do, but coming from Louisville, probably the closest ramp to I-64 would be Benson Creek in Frankfort. But I think it's pretty far upstream to the next dam. The locks are all closed, so if you want to fish right below a dam you have to get there from the downstream side. My next river trip, I'm putting in at High Bridge. I've seen pics, and the scenery is spectacular, plus that's how you get to the lower Dix River.
