How and what are the bass bitting on at green river lake. Please help
Sorry can't give you any help, I've only fished the lake 3 times in my life and one of those was last Nov. I had a hard time catching anything at all when I did go. Try jigs and Texas rigged worms...The water is real clear and the fish seem real finicky after the sun gets up around 9:00 am.
We fished there last weekend (April 26). Our best bite was on main-lake broken rock/gravel banks and points with isolated wood cover (preferred laydowns over standing timber/stumps). We caught fish on texas rigged baby brush hogs. An example of a bank like we were looking for is the one behind the water tower near Holmes Bend. We have no Idea where the big bites were, as we only managed a 10.2 pound limit.
I'm sure things have changed there, so that may not be much help...
Good Luck!
