    Cumberland River

Coming in Sunday from the South to C-Land and was thinking about stoping below Burkesville on the way to striper fish on the river. Is it worth the stop or should I go straight to the lake for L-mouth & S-mouth fishing?

The river is up. They are still letting allot of water out of the dam from earlier spring rains. I'd pass, but there still are fish being caught. The current will just carry you past spots much quicker.

it will also cost you a trout stamp to fish there, even if you aren't fishing for trout. Don't get caught without one.

Pass it up. River is still very high and swift. But if you have a 36 volt trolling motor, it would be fairly fishable.
