    Cool Big Blue Gill

Going To Take A Young Kid Fishing Who Has Never Been. Would Like To Keep Him Interested By Catching Blue Gill. What Small Lake Close To Louisville Would You Suggest For Big Blue Gill?
Fishing From A Small John Boat.
    Any Info Would Be Great

Ive heard that Elmer Davis Lake near Cynthiana, about an hour away, holds big bull gills. If your looking for something a bit closer, I would look at Guist Creek or Beaver Lake.

Elmer Davis in on 127 North out of Frankfort just before you get into Owenton...No where close to Cynthiana.

it does get fished but if i had to rate lakes on pressure I would say its less pressured than Bullock Pen, Kincaid lake which arent too awful far away from this lake and near the same size in acres.
