Guy's i have a Tourney on monroe next Sunday out of Cutwrite does anyone know what the water level is now and clarity?
Last monday it was 12 feet above the summer level, they are pulling water 24~7 (Fish are all screwed up)
Cutright you have the normal ramp, if the water is still too high. You can put in at the sandy area next to the ramp or at the end of Cutright ramp road you have a high water ramp.
Let us know how you did, Good Luck
Thanks Juinor anyone go this past weekend?
I went and I don't think I'll ever go back. Never caught a bass. Caught a walleye and a rock bass. Monroe *****. Had to put in at the road. There was a two hundred boat tourny and that made the ramp a mess. It was a charity toury, if anyone knows what it took to win let us know. Everyone I talked to did not have a fish. I guess we were fishing in the wrong area, or wrong lake. Good luck this weekend...
17 lbs won and we can in 2nd with 14 lbs. Monroe is a great lake and this weekend was tough.... the temp dropped 11 degrees from when I pre-fished the Tuesday before.
Twigg maybe thats why his name is Lucky1
Monroe does #%*# don't let anybody fool you! There is no cover and it is silting in bad. You'll catch more and better fish in a farm pond, plus save $$$$ on liquid gold (gas) !!!!!
Come on you never know, you might get into them... It will be beter than sittin at the house listening to the old lady.
On average it take at least 16 lbs and all the way up to the mid 20's to win a tournament there and over 10 lbs to have a chance at a check. I've seen 30 lbs sacks come out of that so called "@#%#$ Lake" in the past couple years.
The fish are there.... you just have to know how to catch them!
